Our 2-day hair extension course in Banbury and the surrounding areas teaches you how to apply and remove 3 methods of extensions safely and professionally.

 We will teach you how to conduct a consultation correctly and advise your client’s hair type and texture and how to use the correct tools and equipment for each method.  During the consultation, we will teach you how to measure length suited to the client, to colour match so extensions look flawless against natural hair, and how to calculate costs.  

Our Hair Extensions course can be done either 1-1 or via video call.

Kit Needed: Kit contents list will be sent to you after you have brought your course.

Evidence Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a client consultation
  • apply each method and remove
  • give correct aftercare and maintenance advice to the client for each method

On the day of the course:

We start with introductions and objectives of the course. Key points of the theory. All products, tools, and equipment are discussed as well as health and safety precautions.

The tutor will demonstrate a client consultation and perform a detailed demonstration of the service whilst answering any questions you may have.

After the demo, You will complete the full service under the supervision of the tutor.

At the end, there is another opportunity to ask questions and discuss what has been covered during the day. However, don’t worry should you think of something later you can call or email for support.

After the Training: 

It is important that after training you practice your new skills on friends and family – carry out 5-10 practice sessions in order to make sure you have fully understood everything covered in training and improve your delivery time. If you find you are having any issues, that will give us an opportunity to address any problems.. We are available for support by phone or email.

 

FAQ's

The orchard Training is a training school based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. 

We are a fully insured and accredited training school with tutors that have 7+ years of experience working within the industry. We offer different methods to learn. These include online teaching via video call, group teaching courses (in person), and private 1-1 sessions(in person at our salon in Banbury).

How far do you travel for the 1-1 courses?
Unfortunately, we no longer travel to you for our courses. We run our courses on a virtual basis, or you can come to us at our salon in Banbury.

We require a £50 non-refundable booking deposit to book your course.  With the remainder paid via bank transfer the day before your course.

All courses are personalised to you. Due to high demand, we may be turning other future students away for the date of your course, hence why we require a nonrefundable £50 deposit.

To book, please pay your deposit by pressing the “Reserve now” further up the page, your tutor will then be in touch with available dates and kit list.

Once your deposit is paid, your tutor will get in touch and send you over the kit list, available course dates and the process for the day of your course.

All of our training courses are fully accredited and insured by the IPHM Accreditation Group. 

Upon completion of any of our training courses, you will receive a fully accredited certificate.

Of course! You can do as many courses as you want. We also offer combination days (Combi Days). 

If you would like to book more than one course to for a Combi Day then please message us and can create a course package for you. This may also slightly reduce the price than if you was to buy the two separately.

After your course, you will receive ongoing support from your tutor via WhatsApp and have access to our student Facebook group.
