Learning outcomes:

  • Salon health, safety, and hygiene
  • Hair and skin structure
  • Understanding contra-indications that prevent or restrict treatment
  • Consultation
  • Lash mapping
  • Using the correct tools and equipment
  • Preparation of treatment
  • Safely and correctly completing the treatment
  • Knowledge of aftercare and maintenance, and the ability to recommend and guide clients on how to take care of their lashes

Evidence Requirements:

  • Demonstrating a client consultation
  • Performing the treatment correctly
  • Giving correct aftercare and maintenance advice to the client

On the day of the course:

We will begin with introductions and the objectives of the course. Key points of the theory will be covered, as well as all products, tools, and equipment. Health and safety precautions will also be discussed.

The tutor will demonstrate a client consultation and perform a detailed demonstration of the service, answering any questions you may have.

After the demonstration, you will complete the full service under the supervision of the tutor.

At the end, there will be another opportunity to ask questions and discuss what has been covered during the day. However, if you think of something later, you can contact us for support by phone or email.

After the Training:

It is important that you practice your new skills on friends and family after the training – carry out 5-10 practice sessions to make sure you have fully understood everything covered in the training and improve your delivery time. If you have any issues, please get in touch so we can address them. We are available for support by phone or email.

FAQ's

The orchard Training is a training school based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. 

We are a fully insured and accredited training school with tutors that have 7+ years of experience working within the industry. We offer different methods to learn. These include online teaching via video call, group teaching courses (in person), and private 1-1 sessions(in person at our salon in banbury).

How far do you travel for the 1-1 courses?
Unfortunately, we no longer travel to you for our courses. We run our courses on a virtual basis, or you can come to us at our salon in Banbury

The cost of the 1-1 eyelash extension course is £250, with a deposit of £50 required to secure your spot.

We require a £50 non-refundable booking deposit to book your course. With the remainder paid via bank transfer the day before your course. 

All courses are personalised to you. Due to high demand, we may be turning other future students away for the date of your course, hence why we require a nonrefundable £50 deposit.

Our eyelash extension course takes 1 day

To book, please pay your deposit by pressing the “Reserve now” further up the page, your tutor will then be in touch with available dates and kit list.

The 1-day eyelash extension course comes in two formats: in-person at our Banbury salon, or virtually via Zoom for those who prefer a virtual learning experience.

Once your deposit is paid, your tutor will get in touch and send you over the kit list, available course dates and the process for the day of your course.

All of our training courses are fully accredited and insured by the IPHM Accreditation Group. 

Upon completion of any of our training courses, you will receive a fully accredited certificate.

Of course! You can do as many courses as you want. We also offer combination days (Combi Days). 

If you would like to book more than one course  for a Combi Day then please message us and can create a course package for you. This may also slightly reduce the price than if you was to buy the two separately. 

*please note, not all courses can be made into a Combi Day

After your course, you will receive ongoing support from your tutor via WhatsApp and have access to our student Facebook group.

Our 1 day days courses are around 6 hours and our ½ day courses are around 3.5 hours. These times may vary slightly depending on how quickly we progress through the course.

If for any reason you don’t pass your assessment on the day of your course, i will ask you to perform the treatment on 3 more models and ask you to send me evidence throughout the treatment. If I am happy with the outcome you will then be rewarded with your certificate. Please note that this is very unlikely due to the extensive information and demonstrations that you will be provided with on the day of your course.

It will completely depend on what insurance provider you go for. You will need to discuss this with the individual company to make sure they will cover you for this specific treatment.

Kits are not included in the price of your course, once you have paid your deposit, your tutor will get in touch and send you over the kit list and where to get it from.
